So we need a logo, we had a thread on the old IrrSpintz forums going and I like Warchief's.  I have 2 version, very slight difference, and I can't decide which I like better.  I had to change the font, since I didn't have the font Warchief used, it's the same font I used for the forum logo above( it's called Alien ).  So here's the 2 candidates for the official 3Demon logo -

That's a pretty cool font.  Will it be provided with the 3Demon download packages?

Or is it a not-so-free font, that you'd run into legal trouble for doing that with?

I like #2 better, the glare doesn't get in the way quite as much.  The glare on #1 would work better if there were something reflected in it that we were looking at, but since there isn't, it's just overkill.

Voted 2. Don't like the font tho (too .... thin? sharp?). However, if it's final, the right one.

Warchief made the forum's 10th post.

I actually do like the font, a lot.  It's broken and chaotic, much like a demon.  The thinness could be remedied a bit by making it "Bold"

Photoshop 7 doesn't let me pick bold for fonts( maybe the ones I'm using don't provide bold info? )

What font did you use originally Warchief?

We'll stay with 2, as the inner "reflection bubble" looks smooth, IMO, and everyone else picked it as well.  The font is debatable.  BTW, I like the simple logo that's on these forums as well.  This logo is going to be used for the watermark in the examples, and for splash screens and stuff.

The font i used is called Ji-Lament, but I seem to be unable to find it in the Internet. I can upload the ttf if you want.

Oh well, I was just about to submit another logo (a highly modified version of my last one, based on all of your comments) but oh well. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that it was my 'glossy sphere' that Warchief used  Nice job on it. I'm kinda angry (wrangling around with iPodLinux, don't ask) so I'll try not to flame anybody. Nice to see something of a website going up though!
